Barriers and enablers of Prostate Cancer Awareness and early presentation in Botswana and the acceptability of video survivor narratives on newly diagnosed PCa patients

This study explores the barriers and enablers to prostate cancer treatment in Botswana, with the aim of creating educational materials to help men overcome fears and stigma. Survivor stories will play a key role in raising awareness and promoting early detection.

– Approach: Develop health communication media intervention co-designed with prostate cancer survivors in Botswana and narrated in Setswana and evaluate acceptability of the video narrative among PCa patients and assess their impact on baseline distress
